The Air Jordan 4 Retro 'University Blue' features a suede upper in a familiar colourway inspired by Michael Jordan's UNC alma mater. The vivid blue colour scheme is offset by a speckled grey finish on the sneaker's supporting wings and back heel, which includes a raised Jumpman insignia in black. The woven tongue tag features secondary Jumpman branding and is supposed to resemble the jock tag found on the bottom hem of Jordan jerseys.
